Hi Reader,
It's been a few weeks since you've heard from me, longer than I meant it to be. Work got loud in a way that pulled me away from this list, and I didn't want to send something halfway just to check a box. So I said nothing, which in hindsight was the wrong call. You deserved an update, not silence.
Here's what I've been doing instead. I've spent a career-long stretch helping people show up on camera. What I kept running into, over and over, is that the on-camera piece was never really the problem. A lot of accomplished women have a digital presence that undersells everything they've actually earned. Someone meets you and is impressed. Then they look you up, and the impression doesn't hold.
Closing that gap, not just recording better video, is what I'm building around now. I'm calling the whole direction Digital Authority.
More on this is coming, including a new home for the deeper writing and conversations, called Building Digital Authority. I'll tell you more about it soon.
P.S. If you want to see what protecting what's yours looks like in real time: Meta launched a tool this month that let people generate images from your public photos without asking first. The backlash was fast, and Meta pulled it within days. I broke it down here: watch it here. Worth a look if you use any AI image or video tool.
If there's something specific you'd want to hear more about, hit reply and tell me. I read these.
