Hey Reader,
Here is what has been happening, along with a few things I want to put in front of you this week.
If you have ever wished our work together could happen in a room instead of through a screen, I have news for you.
Last week, The Girl Cave Collective opened its new headquarters here in Dallas. I now have a physical space where I can host workshops and work with women in person.
As much as I value virtual events, there is something different about being in the room together.
If you are a woman entrepreneur in the Dallas area, I would love to invite you to visit. Reply to this email if you would like a tour or want to hear about upcoming local events.
Join me for On-Camera Authority
My first workshop in the new space is On-Camera Authority, happening October 7.
This is for women who have the expertise, but feel that their presence on camera does not reflect it yet.
No pressure to become an influencer. No memorized scripts. We will work together live so you can leave with:
- A stronger, more confident on-camera presence
- A clear introduction that communicates your expertise
- A repeatable structure for speaking naturally on video
- One completed authority-focused video
- A simple plan for future footage and content
No fancy equipment or previous video experience is required.

If you are not in Dallas, I am also offering the workshop online on October 27.
Try this before your next video
You already know how to speak to a real person. You can answer her questions, notice her reactions, and explain what you know without becoming a different version of yourself.
Why does that change when the camera turns on?
I explored that question during my latest Building Digital Authority livestream. The short version is this:
The camera does not break trust. Performance does.
Performance usually begins when all your attention turns inward. You start thinking about how you look, how you sound, and what people might think.
Here are two ways to redirect that attention:
One face. Choose one person you want to help. Place her photo beside your camera lens and speak directly to her. You are not addressing an audience. You are answering one person’s question.
One sentence. Before you record, say aloud what you want that person to understand when the video ends. That sentence moves your attention back to helping her.

What I’m testing: Muse
How much of your business would you hand to an AI agent, not only to draft something, but to act on your behalf?
That question became more practical this week when Meta released Muse, its new personal AI agent.
Unlike a chatbot that waits for individual prompts, Muse can work through multistep tasks in the background. It can browse the web, complete forms, draft emails, and check with you before taking sensitive actions such as sending a message or making a purchase.
Muse is currently free for most uses, with subscription plans available for people who want to do more.
I have been testing it for content planning, inbox and calendar organization, monitoring recurring charges, and preparing questions for a retirement-planning conversation.
My early conclusion is simple: an agent can organize information and handle repetitive steps, but it should not replace your judgment about what gets sent, approved, or recommended to a client.
If you try it, begin with contained, reversible tasks such as research, drafts, and monitoring. Be more cautious with client communication, contracts, credentials, and financial access.
Beyond Six Figures Summit
One more event I want to share with you:
The Beyond Six Figures Summit is for business owners who have reached a point where more marketing and more activity are not producing meaningful growth.
Sometimes the next stage requires changes to the offer, delivery model, pricing, calendar, or business structure.
Across three days, more than 20 speakers will share how they addressed those decisions in their own businesses.
The summit is live online October 1 through 3. The free ticket includes access to every session while it is happening.
The free ticket does not include replays. If you cannot attend live, the VIP option includes the recordings, speaker resources, and a Day 4 coaching session on October 4.
